The children wrapped up warm in their onsies and enjoyed a lovely nature walk collecting all sorts of bits and bobs and making lovely nature collages.
We all enjoyed Welly Wednesday today. We went on a plant hunt and we decided to sow some cress seed to see if we could grow something to eat.
The children have been building houses for the three little pigs. Go to our gallery to see the photos.
What a fantastic start to 'Learning Together'! Thank you to all the parents who came. We hope you enjoyed learning about phonemes and how to blend them together to read words. Please come again next week!
We are learning lots of new songs, our favourite so far are from the musical Mary Poppins. Some of the songs are quite tricky but we are enjoying having a go.
Welcome back to the Spring Term and our new theme, 'Down on the Farm' To launch our new theme we welcomed David and Louise from Cotteswold Dairy, who talked to the children about where milk comes from and how the milk is produced. The visit was really interactive and the children loved 'acting out' the different job roles that are needed to produce milk. Please go to the gallery to see all the photos taken. Here are just a couple of the children taking part in the visit.
