On Thursday during our 'Learning Together' session we made some very healthy fruit kebabs. The children cut up strawberries, melon and grapes and peeled satsumas to make their kebabs. What a tasty treat! We celebrated the Queen's 90th Birthday at the same time and ate the kebabs in her honour!
On Wednesday Mr Tomkins came in and very kindly helped us to plant some young plants in our outdoor area that he has grown from seeds. We planted strawberry, cauliflower, peas, lettuce, tomato and Sweet William plants and we will be taking good care of them and watering them every day.
We hope you all had a lovely Easter break and you are looking forward to seeing all the wonderful activities that your children will be doing this term.
The children have had yet another busy week, lots of English, Maths and computing. The school are very lucky to have 15 brand new laptops and Wrens have different opportunities throughout the week to use them. We also made the most of the sunshine and set up lots of learning stations on the playground. |
