The children enjoy Rugby Tykes every Monday. Their control and co-ordination in large and small movements is now fantastic. All the children can move confidently in a range of ways and all the children are learning about the importance of physical exercise to help them stay healthy.

This week we have been learning a new story called 'The Runaway Chapati'. This story is based on the story called 'The Gingerbread Man'
Mohammed's family come from Bangladesh where they eat lots of chapatis and today they came in and cooked some for us to taste. They were delicious! Our story this week has been the Gingerbread Man. The children have enjoyed making gingerbread men and writing instructions on how we made them.
Thank you to the parents who joined us for learning together this week. We practiced forming our letters correctly.

A big thank you to Anna Lutowski (Witold's Mum) for coming in to read the Polish version of the Enormous Turnip. Please click on the link above to listen to the story.
The children investigated the field to find items to stick to their sticks. This represented their journey around the school.
